Puppr is a great app designed to help make training your dog manageable, from basic commands to more advanced agility training. Relatively cheap a la carte options offer a convenient flexibility in selecting which tricks you want your pup to learn.

Training a dog can be an intimidating task, especially if your dog is something of a handful. That’s why it’s incredibly important to have a method of training that’s easy to follow — and that leaves a lasting impression on your dog.

There are plenty of options for pup owners when it comes to training classes, but, depending on your dog’s temperament and intelligence level, you may want to try to do it yourself. It’s certainly a cheaper option and lets you to train at your own pace in your own home.

There are a number of books and apps to help guide you through the process, and that’s where Puppr comes in. Pairing training lessons and tips from Sara Carson, a superstar in the world of dog training, with an easily navigable interface, Puppr is an app that aims to make the training process as simple as possible.

My own dog, Charlie, is a loving, boisterous pup who also hasn’t been the best student when it comes to obedience training. While he did well enough to pass our first round of basic obedience class, he’s got an insanely high level of energy and is prone to distractions.
