“I know that everyone loves it, but I couldn’t make it through. I even gave it three full seasons.”

“I’m pretty sure I made it halfway through the first season and just couldn’t stand the way it made me feel. ‘Almost traumatizing’ just about sums it up. When the second season came out and everyone was gushing over it, I still refused to try to watch it again.”

“I saw the first few episodes and it was good! I love Jon Hamm, John Slattery, and adore Kiernan Shipka. It’s just not at the top of my list. I might finish it one day, but so many other shows came before it that I might end up watching it on my deathbed.”

Every single character is awful, and not in the ‘it’s funny how awful they are way.’ They’re just genuinely awful. I don’t understand why it’s had a resurgence, because it should stay in the past where it belongs.”

“I watched the first four episodes and totally regret it. The way the series glorifies the owning of exotic animals and does nothing to expose the problems of non-accredited zoo’s is disgusting. People will watch this and either think owning a tiger is cool, or think any captive animal is terrible full-stop — which is a huge problem for all the accredited zoo’s and sanctuaries worldwide that are actually trying to help these creatures.”
