I typically wash my hair every four days and use this on day three or four! My boyfriend also loves the smell and thinks I smell fresh. I apply by splitting my hair in sections across the top of my scalp, spraying along the roots, and massaging it through. This is definitely the best dry shampoo I’ve ever used!” —Taylor

Promising Review: “I absolutely love this product. I have thick, wavy/curly hair, and I will try to go for as long as possible without washing it. The issue with that is that it will start to look dried out at the ends — especially when styled with heat. After one to two days of not washing my hair, I’ll spray the ends with Glimmer Shine, and it makes it looks super healthy and smells fantastic! A must have for anyone who goes more than a couple days without washing.” —Jenna D Cafiero

Promising Review: “I have never, ever once found a hair product I love enough to use daily. I have thick, frizzy, semi-coarse hair that has a natural wave, BUT it very easily straightens out with too much weight. Some products make my hair frizzier, sticky, or crunchy, while others weigh it down. But this hair balm has been AMAZING. It doesn’t dry crunchy or sticky whatsoever, it isn’t overly slick, and it doesn’t weigh my hair down. It enhances my waves when I use it on wet hair, then revives them when I apply it to dry hair. It doesn’t seem to build up if I use it daily between washes either. I seriously love this stuff. I’m way too lazy to curl my hair like a normal person, so I love using this balm and looking like I actually put in some effort.” —Tessonja O.

Get it from Hairstory for $36.

4.

Some hair water (what?!) that will help revive your curls and waves while also taming frizz and calming the poof!

@hairstorystudio / Via instagram.com, Target

Promising Review: “This is my favorite (along with Kristin Ess’ dry shampoo) for reviving my style after a workout or in the morning. I can curl my hair on day one and keep that style for three days — even after sleeping and working out. First, I will let my hair down and allow it to settle and dry. Then, I spray an even, light application of this hair water and scrunch my hair, and the curl just bounces back! It helps tame frizz and calms your hair if you over styled it. And it also helps if you need to blow dry certain areas of your hair, like your hairline/bangs/cow lick, without needing to rewash or severely wet your hair.” —Abailey

I have been loyal to Oribe for the past few years, but I LOVE this stuff so much. I even put it on my roots when I get out of the shower with freshly washed hair to add a little volume. From my experience, it’s incredibly gentle yet still manages to clean my hair. After washing, my hair and scalp feel cleansed but not stripped. A few sprays of this and some water, and she’s back to the cute ringlets. I generally wear my hair wavy and this helps to restyle the next morning and get out the kinks.
