Game of Thrones may be finished as a show, but Kit Harington is still experiencing the phenomenon. At Sunday’s Golden Globes, where Harington was nominated for Best Actor in a TV Drama for his performance during the final season of Thrones, he told E! red carpet host Ryan Seacrest that the role of Jon Snow was still on his mind.

“I think about him all the time,” Harington said. When asked about his favorite memory of playing Snow, Harington responded, “It was always just getting into costume the first day back, getting into that outfit and just sort of being back on set, back with him on character. I loved it.” With the benefit of hindsight, Harington noted, “It’s in retrospect that you start loving it. It does go by fast. Ten years, like that.”

This is Harington’s first Golden Globe nomination, and he is actually the only Game of Thrones actor nominated for anything from the final season. As a result, Harington was flying solo and representing the show singlehandedly — unlike past awards shows where he was accompanied by costars like Peter Dinklage, Emilia Clarke, Sophie Turner, and Maisie Williams.

“I haven’t got my gang,” he told Seacrest. “It’s odd. I haven’t been to these things without the rest of us around. So I’m a little jealous of the Succession dudes.”

As astonished as Seacrest was that Harington could be jealous of another TV show, the Succession cast is bonding in the limelight these days. Read EW’s year-end discussion with costars Kieran Culkin, Jeremy Strong, and Sarah Snook here.
