BTS are releasing re-assembled/re-edited short videos every week as a part of their “Learn Korean with BTS” educational programming aimed at helping fans learn the language.

Big Hit Entertainment

The videos feature clips of BTS saying frequently used expressions, like their introductions or “How have you been?”, so you’ll be talking as eloquently as RM in no time at all. That’s how this works, right? You can watch the first three episodes of “Learn Korean with BTS” on Weverse (you can make an account for free!) right now, and stay tuned for the rest!

P.S. According to a press release, Professor Heo Yong (Department of Korean Education at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies) and researchers at the Korea Language Contents Institute (KOLCI) all helped in developing this easy-to-follow ~curriculum~. Time to study up!

And! Just a month after their “Carpool Karaoke” segment premiered, BTS (alongside Dua Lipa in London, Billie Eilish and Finneas as well as John Legend from LA, and Andrea Bocelli in Italy) are also set to perform on “Homefest: James Corden’s Late Late Show Special,” which will air on CBS on March 30!

The beloved annual K-pop convention was supposed to be held June 12–14 at the Javits Center, with concerts at Madison Square Garden. Refunds for tickets purchased before the coronavirus outbreak are now being issued.

“After consulting with government authorities, health experts and our partners, we have decided to officially cancel KCON 2020 NY with a heavy heart,” KCON’s statement said. “The health and safety of all those involved in KCON are our highest priority and we look forward to meeting you at the next event.”

KCON NY’s west coast counterpart, KCON LA, is still currently scheduled for August 27–30 of this year.

In other sad coronavirus cancellation news, BTS has officially postponed their North American tour dates, which were originally going to kick off in late April. All tickets will be honored for the new dates, which will be announced later on.
